Enhanced Risk from North Texas to Central Mississippi

There is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today stretching from North Texas into parts of south central Mississippi. This includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, and Garland in Texas and Shreveport and Alexandria in Louisiana plus Jackson, MS.

Damaging wind gusts, large to very large hail, and tornadoes will all be possible. The greatest tornado threat area exists in the aforementioned “Enhanced” area.
